Key Stage 2
Key stage two is split into two groups; 'Yellow Group' (lower KS2) and 'Blue Group' (upper KS2). The classrooms are very bright and colourful with displays showing all the good work.

In the morning, Blue Group and Yellow group work separately but in the afternoons the whole key stage joins together for their Science, Religious Ed., P.E., Art/DT, ICT, History, Geography and Music.
YELLOW GROUP
In our Yellow group we have six pupils this year. We have
the morning lessons in our classroom/library. Mrs. Crossley is our teacher in the morning but in the afternoon we usually join in with Blue Group and Mr Smits.

BLUE GROUP
This is the classroom for the year 5 and year
6 pupils (Blue Group) and there are nine of us this year.
The six year 6 pupils take their Key Stage Two Tests (S.A.T.s)
in May in preparation for transferring to Secondary School in
September.
During the summer term there will be days when the Year 6’s
visit Keswick School. In particular they look forward to the ‘Beacon
Days’ when they spend the whole day at Keswick School doing
activities in their favourite subjects.
Towards the end of the summer term we have our Leavers Service and Annual Prizegiving.
This is a special service for the leavers and an occasion when we
give awards to the pupils who have done well at our school in the
previous year.
The awards include prizes for writing, swimming, R.E., personal projects
and games.
The leavers all get their own copy of the bible to commemorate their
time at Borrowdale School.
